Our Impact in China
Our NGO is proud to have played a significant role in funding the rebuilding of a school in rural Sichuan, China. The structure was originally an orphanage but had fallen into disrepair and was abandoned. With the owner's support, who had relocated to the city, we undertook the task of covering the repair costs and transforming the dilapidated building into a functional schoolyard.
The renovated facility now stands as the only schoolhouse in the area, featuring five well-equipped classrooms. This transformation has been a beacon of hope and progress for the community, offering a safe and conducive learning environment for the children. The school can accommodate approximately 100 kids at any given time, providing them with the educational opportunities they previously lacked.
Understanding the dire need for additional educational support in this rural region, our NGO provides free supplemental courses at the school. These courses are essential for the children, most of whom do not have access to extra classes or tutoring. Our curriculum is designed to bridge educational gaps, ensuring that these students receive a well-rounded education that complements their regular schoolwork.
