Empowering Orphans in Lebanon
Our NGO is working with the Orphan Welfare Organization in Lebanon to support the education and well-being of children in need. We focus on providing essential academic supplies to orphanages, particularly those serving the most disadvantaged populations. These include orphans, school drop-outs, children with learning difficulties, and vulnerable girls, ensuring that they have the resources necessary to pursue their education and build a brighter future.
Our initiative centers on distributing comprehensive packages that contain a variety of educational materials. Each package includes notebooks, pens, pencils, highlighters, erasers, rulers, and other essential stationery items. By supplying these tools, we aim to alleviate the financial burden on orphanages and empower children to engage more effectively in their studies.
The impact of our work extends beyond the provision of supplies. For many of these children, receiving educational materials is not just about having the necessary tools for learning; it is also about feeling supported and valued. When children have access to the same resources as their peers, it boosts their confidence, motivation, and overall academic performance. This sense of inclusion and support is particularly crucial for orphans and vulnerable children, who often face significant emotional and psychological challenges.
In Saida, Lebanon, we have successfully distributed over 150 packages to children in one of the local orphanages. This orphanage is home to a diverse group of children, many of whom have faced severe socio-economic hardships. Our contributions have made a tangible difference in their daily lives, enabling them to participate more fully in their education and giving them hope for a better future.
