Our impact in Zambia

Our NGO has partnered with the Butterfly Project in Zambia to support the acquisition and distribution of textbooks for children in need. Our collaboration focuses on Senkobo Primary School, located in a rural area of Musokotwane in the Southern Province of Zambia. This school serves students from grade 1 to grade 9, providing foundational education in a region where access to educational resources is limited.

Through our initiative, we have successfully purchased and distributed new textbooks to approximately 150 children at Senkobo Primary School. These textbooks are essential as they enable each student to have their own copy, eliminating the need to share resources and ensuring that every child has equitable access to learning materials. This not only promotes a more focused and personalized learning experience but also encourages students to dedicate more time and effort to their studies.

The impact of providing textbooks extends beyond the classroom. By equipping students with the necessary educational resources, we empower them to improve their academic performance and develop essential skills for their future. Access to textbooks enhances literacy and comprehension skills, laying a solid foundation for lifelong learning and success.

In rural areas like Musokotwane, where educational infrastructure and resources are often scarce, our efforts play a crucial role in bridging the gap and fostering a conducive learning environment. By continuing to support initiatives like the Butterfly Project, we aim to expand our reach and ensure that more children in Zambia have access to quality education and the tools they need to thrive academically and beyond.
